It’s been a while since I last visited Papa Ganache, so I couldn’t resist stopping by when I was in the area recently. I love how you can’t miss it from the street!
The vegan bakery was mostly how I remembered, although stocked with a significantly larger variety of both gluten-free and glutenous goodies to be had. In addition to more standard fare such as brownies, muffins, pies, biscotti, and a large array of decadent and appealing cupcake flavors, there were also more elusive items available in abundance: including New York-style black and white cookies, rainbow cookies, and even a roll cake that looked exactly like a ginormous yodel. I couldn’t convince the gentleman behind the counter that it was feasible to sell it as such; he insisted on cutting me a slice instead. This has prompted me to plot Operation Giant Yodel, the outcome of which aims to eventually secure the whole intact roll…along with a ream of napkins.
On top of all this human goodness, PG has not forgotten their canine friends.
I had them add one to my take-out haul (human grade, people!)…
And it made a certain numbered dog very happy.
Vegan goodies from a dog-friendly establishment in New Jersey? I’m all over it.
